Valentina Cannito
Vice President
Valentina was born and raised in Northern Italy where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Genova. After graduating from university, she spent three years in London where she worked as an architect and interior designer for a boutique architectural firm, dealing with high-end hospitality and residential projects for both private and public clients. She delivered detailed specifications for multiple project areas and created exterior and interior 3D visualizations for commercial, residential and community buildings. Valentina was also in charge of business development and dealing with the company’s publicity, web presence publications, and awards application. In 2011, Valentina was lucky enough to win the Green Card Lottery, and in 2012 moved to Los Angeles, where she began her collaboration with Fidelity Arts and Amy Lucena. Valentina and Amy were thrilled to celebrate her US Citizenship during a touching Ceremony in 2018. For over twelve years she has been working with Fidelity Arts to meet the creative, administrative and technical requirements related to the new build projects of Princess Cruises Royal, Medallion and Sphere Class ships, from Royal Princess to the newest addition Sun Princess. As Vice President, she follows and manages the process from initial concepts to delivery and installation of the artwork on board, and works closely with Amy Lucena, President of Fidelity Arts, during all art selection stages. She produces presentations, designs, technical and installation drawings for art commission in accordance with the client’s direction. She also develops and manages budgets, schedules, and logistics to ensure that all phases of the project are successfully achieved in a timely manner. Her Italian origins and bilingualism are a big advantage when liaising with Italian vendors and contractors before and during the on-site shipyard installation in Italy. Valentina thrives on the construction site and it’s also where her problem-solving capabilities, detail-oriented eye and technical skills really shine. Valentina enjoys her life with her husband Ben, daughter Emilia, and dog Gaia.
