Discovery Princess was especially important as she would be taking on passengers post pandemic, just as people were coming together and travelling again. We selected contemporary figurative art focused on people exploring, playing, and moving around the world. We included aspirational art that encourages travel, sightseeing, journeys, and celebration. The passengers will rediscover the world on Discovery Princess and a lighter, brighter tone is what we had all been dreaming about. We also utilized a contemporary color direction, feel and framing in keeping with Princess Cruises more streamlined architecture for the final Medallion Class Ship, and in anticipation of their new Sphere Class ship Sun Princess.
